The Zooomy 90 day Winter Challenge

The Zooomy 90 day Winter Challenge

After three years, over 20,000 dogs and cats, and 40,000 orders, we've learned a lot about what separates the owners who see a change from the ones who don't.

We've built everything we know into our 90-Day Winter Challenge to help you overcome the most common misunderstandings. So we propose a challenge: you order a 90-day bundle that gives you enough Zooomy to try it fairly, we give you a routine to stick to, and we'll give your money back if, at the end of it, you've not seen a difference.*

What three years has taught us

1. It can take longer than you expect

Most owners who tell us they've seen a change in their pet say they noticed it somewhere between 3 and 6 weeks from starting. A few tell us they saw a difference within a week, others that it took 12 weeks but was still life-changing for them. After all, our pets are all individuals and may have things going on that we can't see from the outside.

What we can say confidently is that judging any supplement in the first 2 or 3 weeks isn't fair to it or your pet. If a supplement can help, 90 days is enough time to know one way or the other.

2. Twice a day, every day

Oral long-chain hyaluronic acid has a short half life in the circulation (longer in tissue). We've watched enough owners use Zooomy once a day and be disappointed, then start twice a day and be much happier within weeks, to know this is significant.

If you can't commit to twice a day, every day, the challenge isn't really the right shape for you, and we'd rather be straight about that up front.

3. It has to be the right amount for your pet's weight

Under-giving is the other common way we see owners end up disappointed; the amount we recommend on the label isn't merely a suggestion and it scales with your pet's weight because a 5kg cat and a 40kg dog need genuinely different amounts.

We'll build your Challenge Bundle to give you enough for at least the full 90 days at the right amount for your pet. As long as you use our calculator and your pet's correct weight to build the bundle, you're covered.

4. Existing supplements or adding in new ones?

If you're already giving another joint supplement, keep it going through the challenge. If it was helping and you stop it, your pet may lose ground, and neither of us would be able to tell whether that was Zooomy not doing enough or the other one being missed. Equally, don't start anything new at the same time, so you can see clearly what's happening. This isn't about supplements interfering with each other; it's about not muddying the picture.

How the challenge works

If your pet has never been on Zooomy before, you choose a challenge bundle that gives you enough Zooomy for 90 days at the right amount for your pet's weight, the calculator on the product page does the maths.

You give your pet Zooomy twice a day, every day, for the ninety days.

Keep the empty bottles as you go. If you end up claiming, we'll ask for them back.

You do a mobility check-in on the Zooomy app when the bottle arrives, and another at the end. This gives you something to compare against. Over ninety days, changes can be gradual and easy to miss when you see your pet every day; so often our customers tell us it's a friend or a family member who stops them and asks what's different, because the pet is doing so much better but the owner hadn't noticed!

Keep an eye out for the emails we send over the ninety days. They're the practical side of the challenge; exercise, weight, when to see your vet, a couple of check-ins along the way.

And if you'd like to talk something through at any point, you email us on challenge90@zooomy.com.

Our part of the deal

If you take on the Challenge Bundle and you start giving Zooomy the way we've described, twice a day, every day, at the amount for your pet's weight, for the ninety days, and you've not seen a difference, we'll refund you.

Here's how it works. Email challenge90@zooomy.com with your order number within thirty days of the ninety-day challenge period ending.

The first thing you'll get back is a reply from one of us, checking what you've seen, how much you've been giving and anything that might be worth adjusting. We're vets and we've had this conversation many times. If there's something worth trying, we'll say so, and you stay covered either way. If not, we'll send you an address to return items to.

Post the empty bottles back to us, along with anything you haven't opened, and when they arrive we refund the product price to your original payment method, plus what it cost you to post them. What we can't refund is the original delivery postage, or any import duties and taxes charged on orders outside the UK, because those go to carriers and customs authorities and we can't get them back.

Things to bear in mind

If your pet won't take Zooomy, or it doesn't agree with them, that's covered separately by our standard refund policy. It's not what the challenge is for.

If your pet isn't able to complete the challenge, please contact us and we'll arrange a refund for any unopened product under our standard returns policy.

Ultimately we know that nobody takes on a ninety-day challenge like this unless they genuinely want their pet to be doing better. If something's been missed along the way, tell us and we'll talk it through.
